Photographer captures exact moment adoptive parents first lay eyes on their baby girl

Birth photography has become increasingly popular as a way to document the moments a baby comes into the world. But parents who adopt their kids have their own special stories to document. And a sweet series of photos going viral right now shows just how special. Kristen Prosser, a photographer based out of Minnesota, was able to capture the moments when one of her best friends became a mom — via adoption. 

She writes on her Facebook page that she’s always wanted to be there when adoptive parents make their first connection with their child, and she got a chance to fly to Florida, along with her friend and her husband, when they got the priceless call that their baby was waiting for them. 

“It was one of the most special moments of my life,” she writes. “I was so privileged to watch this all unfold. What a perfect example of unconditional and sacrificial love.”

And now we get to see these beaming new parents meet their true love, a baby girl they named Tilly Pearl.
