Meghan Trainor shared the most wholesome TikTok explaining what it’s like being pregnant and taking care of a toddler at the same time. It’s a sweet reminder that moms do a lot — but we couldn’t do it without the support of the people who love us best.
The “Mother” singer jumped on the viral trend set to the Bluey theme song. Bluey is hands down one of the best kids’ shows on tv right now. The Australian animated show follows the Heeler family — Mum, Dad, Bingo, and Bluey — as they navigate everyday life in a compassionate and hilarious way. Lately, TikTokers have been using the sound from the show’s catchy theme song to showcase the difference between moms vs. dads. Most of them depict moms doing all the work at home while dads do the bare minimum, which is funny, but also kinda depressing and not at all true for many awesome and involved dads (including Bluey and Bingo’s dad!). Trainor’s version, on the other hand, was absolutely adorable and supportive.

“Who carried this kid and is 6 months pregnant with a second one,” she wrote on the video. In it, she’s holding her 2-year-old son Riley, who she shares with husband Daryl Sabara, and showing off her growing baby bump as she lip synchs “mom” to the music. Even adorable Riley says “mom” at the same time, making our hearts burst! He truly is the cutest baby.
The next part will make you so emotional. “Who makes sure I don’t have to do anything myself while pregnant,” she wrote over a video of Sabara picking her up and laughing together. The ending was so unexpectedly sweet, we love a supportive husband and daddy!
The Comments Were So Supportive
The video has already racked up 9.4 million views and is full of supportive comments. “We love a simp husband 💕,” one person wrote.
“Daryl being the most wholesome family man and wonderful husband is iconic,” another person said.
“Your family is truly the definition of adorable,” another wrote, and we can’t agree more.
Daryl Didn’t Always Want to be a Dad
Although he is a wonderfully supportive dad and husband now, Trainor says he didn’t always know he wanted to have kids.
In a March 2023 interview with SheKnows, Trainor explained, “He actually didn’t even have a dad growing up so he never saw himself being a dad. So he said, ‘I didn’t see myself getting married or having a baby until I met you.’”
How sweet is that? And now, he is excited about having more kids with her. “But now he’s like, ‘We should make more, he’s perfect!’ and I’m like, ‘Right? We’re good at this.’”
Their TikToks Are Funny, Too
While we love the sweet moments on their TikToks, the Spy Kids alum and “Made You Look” singer also make each other (and us!) laugh with their hilarious content.
Last month, Sabara made a video jumping on the “Acting Like My Pregnant Wife” trend, and it was spot-on. The best part was when he looked irritated and said, “I’m carrying your child.” You really can’t argue with a pregnant mom when she says that!
Whether they are making fun of each other or professing their love, we can’t get enough of this cute couple.
