Even before True was a twinkle in her mom’s eye, Khloé Kardashian has been dreaming about her. The little girl turned 5 years old this week, and Kardashian is feeling sentimental about how fast she’s growing up — and how lucky she is to have her dreams become a reality.
“True, you must have heard me from heaven because I prayed for you for years,” the Good American founder, who shares True and a baby boy with ex Tristan Thompson, wrote to her daughter on Instagram. “I must’ve done something right, because I have been blessed with one of the most gentle, empathetic, loving, happy, grateful and silly little girls.”
She went on, “I’ve dreamt of my daughter for as long as I can remember but my dreams were not even close to the reality that God blessed me with.” Aww! Sweetness overload.

Kardashian also shared several photos of True in a pink Octonauts dress with her curly brown hair wore in an updo. She smiles at the camera in front of a dessert bar for her birthday looking too sweet with her big brown eyes and her pearl “True” necklace.
“Now my sweet baby is 5 🥹,” The Kardashians star continued. “I get so emotional when I think about how quickly time is passing us by. At the same time I am so honored and thankful for every minute. I cherish every single moment and memory I have with you.”
It’s bittersweet watching your kids grow up. You are incredibly thankful to see how much they’ve learned and changed throughout the last year, but it’s also hard reconciling the fact that they aren’t babies anymore. We definitely feel for her!
Kardashian Posted a Day Late for the Sweetest Reason
In her lengthy tribute, Kardashian told her daughter, “My sweet innocent happy girl, you are my everything. As sad as I am that you’re getting older, I am also excited to see what year five has in store.”
“Thank you for choosing me to be your mommy. You and your brother are my heart beat and my happy. You are my entire life!” she added.
Kardashian also shared that she was “too busy being in the moment with my birthday girl” to share on her actual birthday on April 12, which is why her Instagram tribute comes one day later. We love that she is staying present with her daughter!
True Had an Amazing Birthday Party
In true Kardashian/Jenner style, True had an amazing, over-the-top birthday celebration earlier this month. It was themed after The Octonauts, one of True’s favorite tv series, complete with a giant pink octopus made out of balloons. There were custom snacks and even real goldfish that kids could take home as party favors. It’s OK, we’re jealous, too.

Well-wishers flocked to the comments to wish True a happy birthday. Her aunt, Kylie Jenner, commented, “sweetest angel girl.”

Grandma Kris Jenner posted her own sweet tribute to the 5-year-old. “Happy birthday to my beautiful granddaughter True!!!! You are such a gorgeous light with your mesmerizing smile and your effervescent personality that captures our hearts and lights up every room!”
Jenner continued, “You are such an amazing daughter, granddaughter, cousin, best friend, and the perfect sister.
