Dressed in orange, with her long red hair pulled back in a low ponytail, Lindsay Lohan was absolutely glowing at her baby shower this weekend.
The Mean Girls star shared several photos of the occasion on her Instagram Stories, including one with her mom Dina Lohan and her sister Aliana Lohan. On the picture, Lohan wrote, “Take the time to smile.” They are sitting at a table outside smiling at each other, surrounded by cute spring decorations. There are white flowers in a vase with the words “Oh baby,” a white bunny figure, and an off-white cake with flowers on top. It seems like a low-key, family-focused affair.
“What a beautiful baby shower we gave my sweet angel Lindsay this weekend, surrounded by family and friends, filled with the utmost joy and love,” Dina told Entertainment Tonight about the event.
“We are blessed and over the moon in anticipation for our baby miracle to arrive,” she added.
Family & Friends Celebrated the Star
Lohan and others at the shower shared more photos from the event on their Instagram Stories over the weekend, which PEOPLE shared HERE. In one, her friend Juliet Angus shared a photo of the two, writing, “Flew into town to shower my gorgeous preggers bestie and glowing mama-to-be.”
In another, the Falling for Christmas star shared a picture of her and her sister Aliana Lohan, with a “Sisters” sticker. In this one, Lohan is dressed in a green-and-white crochet top, while her sister is wearing a yellow dress.
Baby Coming Soon!
Lohan and husband Bader Shammas announced their baby news last month. “We are blessed and excited! 🙏🤍👶🍼,” she wrote, alongside a onesie that read “coming soon…”
The two got married on April 3, 2022. On their anniversary last week, The Parent Trap star shared a sweet photo of the couple and wrote, “April 3, 2023 ❤️ 1 year today ❤️ Happy Anniversary ☺️.”
She’s Always Wanted to Be a Mom
Last month, an insider told Us Weekly that Lohan plans to continue working and being a mom at the same time. “She has always wanted to be a mom and a wife. She was always told, ‘You can’t do both,’ but she knows she can,” the source said. “She can be a wife, a mom and an actress. She’s filming another two movies. She can still do it and isn’t showing just yet.”
“She wants to be a family mom and not just a working mom,” the insider went on. “[She] wants to be home raising the baby, but she will continue working.”
Lohan already has such great support from family and friends, we know she’ll be able to do anything she wants to!
