Lately, it seems the British Royal Family has been snubbing not only Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, but also their kids. Specifically, Kate Middleton and Prince William’s latest post has caused a bit of discourse, and everyone seems to have a strong opinion on why the family chose this photo.
If your eyes are glued to the Prince and Princess of Wales’ Instagram page, then chances are you saw the heartfelt message they left for what would’ve been the late Queen Elizabeth II’s 97th birthday. The caption read, “Today would have been Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s 97th birthday. This photograph – showing her with some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren – was taken at Balmoral last summer. 📸 The Princess.”
You can see the post HERE!
As you can see in the post, we see the late Queen surrounded by so many of those she loved, including William and Kate’s children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Along with them, we see Savannah Phillips, Mia Tindall, and Lucas Tindall on the couch, and Isla Phillips and Lena Tindall next to William and Kate’s kids. In the back, we see Lady Louise Windsor and James, Earl of Wessex.
Now, obviously, if all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were in the shot, it’d be a much wider show. However, quite a few royal fans commented under the post that they noticed two big members were missing: Harry and Meghan’s children Archie and Lilibet.
Fans commented things like “Where are Archie and Lillibet?????” and “Beautiful photo. Archie & Lilibet should have been in this photo with the Queen,” which both led to a huge discourse with over 100 comments under each.
Now, fans also noticed how Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice’s kids weren’t in the photo, making fans think they’re being snubbed again for their relationship with the Sussexes.
While many believe this was merely the only photo that fits most of her great-grandchildren into one photo, quite a few are convinced this feud is far from over.
How Many Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren Did Queen Elizabeth II Have?
So Queen Elizabeth II had eight grandchildren named Peter Phillips, 44, Zara Tindall, 41, William, 40, Harry, 38, Beatrice, 34, Eugenie, 32, Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, 19, and James Mountbatten-Windsor, 15.
And as for grandchildren: she had 12 named Savannah, 11, Isla, 10, George, 9, Mia, 8, Charlotte, 7, Louis, 4, Lena, 4, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, 3, Sienna, 1, August, 2, Lucas, 2, and Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, 1.
Is This the First Time William & Kate Allegedly Shaded the Sussexes’ Kids?
Now, many know how King Charles has allegedly shaded Archie and Lilibet by not inviting them from the Coronation, but as for William and Kate? Well, they allegedly didn’t make much of an effort to forge a relationship with the two kiddos, and even made it public that George’s well-known nickname was Archie. But that’s the extent to which we know of.
When Did This Feud Start?
Six months after Meghan and Harry’s wedding in May 2018, rumors began to circulate about the alleged drama between Meghan and Kate. Since then, there have been too many reports and instances to count about the four’s insanely complicated feud.
