We love seeing cute couples on the Met Gala red carpet every year. And one moment that particularly stood out for us on Monday? Josh Kushner giving his pregnant wife Karlie Kloss major heart eyes as she showed off her baby bump.

Kloss wore a new dress from Loewe, designed by Jonathan Anderson, which was inspired by 1983 Chanel dress designed by Karl Lagerfeld, per Vanity Fair. Kushner wore a black tux with a bow tie, keeping all the attention on his beautiful wife, who was glowing with multiple strands of pearls around her neck and bump. One photo from the event shows Kushner totally smitten with his wife, and we don’t blame him!

The model shared a photo to Instagram, writing, “hubby appreciation post.” In it, Kloss is posing from the side, showing off her growing bump, while Kushner stands off to the side letting his wife shine. His hands are clasped in front of him (holding her black clutch purse!), and he has the biggest smile on his face. He is the embodiment of heart eyes, and it’s so adorable.
Others thought so too, with Kate Hudson writing, “❤️❤️❤️.” Alexis Ohanian, who attended the Met Gala with wife Serena Williams, commented, “We know how to admire on a red carpet.”

Karlie Kloss Felt ‘Kind of Vulnerable’ on the Red Carpet
Despite owning the Met Gala with her amazing announcement, Kloss opened up about feeling “vulnerable.”
“I got a plus one, don’t tell anybody,” she joked to Emma Chamberlain on Vogue’s red carpet livestream, per Vanity Fair. “You know what, this is also the first time I’m sharing my news, so it’s very special.”
She shared the difference between this pregnancy and her first with son Levi, born in March 2021. “Oh, girl. I was pregnant last time during the pandemic, so I didn’t leave my sweatpants,” she said. “So this is the first time I’m actually on a red carpet pregnant. It’s a super special moment and kind of vulnerable. I don’t know how to style a belly, so this is my first time and I can’t imagine a more special moment.”

Kloss wasn’t the only one debuting a baby bump on the red carpet. Serena Williams also showed off her growing bump at the Met Gala. The two mamas are both pregnant with their second children (Williams and Ohanian are also parents to 5-year-old Olympia), and they posed together for a sweet snap.
“Bumpin’ 🖤” Kloss wrote on Twitter. In the photo, her and Williams are side-by-side posing in their form-fitting black dresses with pearls. They look gorgeous together!
“Two icons!!! So much beauty and power in one photo 🔥🔥🔥,” one person commented.
