After keeping it secret for nearly a year, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s baby boy’s name has allegedly been revealed — and it’s definitely unique!
His name is RZA Athelston Mayers, according to The Daily Mail, who reportedly obtained a copy of the almost-1-year-old’s birth certificate.

‘RZA’ Is Probably After Wu-Tang’s RZA
Rihanna and Rocky have not commented on their baby’s name publicly, but the most obvious connection to his first name is the music producer and Wu-Tang member RZA.
According to Just Jared, the famous rapper pronounces his name “Rizza,” so it’s likely that’s how Rihanna and Rocky pronounce their baby’s name, too.
Rihanna Is a Fan of Wu-Tang
If her clothes are any indication, Rihanna is a fan of Wu-Tang — and RZA in particular. She was photographed wearing RZA merch on multiple occasions, including a RZA t-shirt in Manhattan on Aug. 13, 2022, which was exactly three months after giving birth to her son.

Rihanna’s baby is named after not just one, but two famous rappers! The second being, of course, his dad. Rocky’s real name is Rakim Athelston Mayers, so the baby’s middle name is a clear tribute.
Athelston is an English name meaning “from the noble’s hill.” He comes from music world nobility, that’s for sure!
Rihanna Is Pregnant with Baby No. 2
Rihanna is currently pregnant with her second child, but so far they have not revealed the name or sex of the baby. If it’s a girl, maybe they’ll name her after Rihanna (her real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty). And if it’s a boy, they have plenty of other Wu-Tang members to choose from — although GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, and the late Ol’ Dirty B**tard would be very strange baby names.
