This Genius Universal Baby Registry Lets You List Things From Any Store — & Here’s What’s Most Requested

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, SheKnows may receive an affiliate commission.

We’re not being dramatic when we say that Babylist has revolutionized the baby registry game. The universal site lets expectant parents register for goodies from any website or store. Did you catch that? Any. Amazon, Target, buybuy Baby, Walmart, Etsy, Pottery Barn Kids, Nordstrom, and, ya know, all the other stores big or small. Any.

And so you don’t need to drive around town or have a bazillion tabs open to pick and choose from your favorite retailers, curating your perfect registry. There’s a lot to love about this game-changing site (and app!) — like price tracking, expert-backed advice, a built-in checklist, and the ability to copy and paste or duplicate a registry — but we are especially into the “starter” registries and the option to add meaningful gifts.

If you’re not sure how to begin, Babylist can jumpstart your registry with ideas that align best with your life whether you’re eco-conscious, a city-dweller, and more. You can also start by looking at the most requested products (we’ve picked our favorites from the bunch below!).

And if you’re overwhelmed with stuff and looking for support from your village in other ways, you can add requests for home-cooked meals, dog walking, cash funds (for diapers or baby’s college!), and more. They really have thought of it all and we’re over here wondering why this hasn’t always been a thing!

Plus, users get a welcome box when they register with Babylist that includes samples, gift cards, and other fun items. Say no more!
