The First Family of Football is officially back in business! The Kansas City Chiefs are back to training, and quarterback Patrick Mahomes had some very special guests join him in the weight room on Monday. Wife Brittany Mahomes and daughter Sterling, 2, were hanging around (literally) and it’s so precious.
Brittany posted a carousel with seven photos of her toddler hanging from a barbell, sitting on the treadmill, and watching her dad workout. “’I go to work with daddy’ 🥹😍🖤,” Brittany captioned her Instagram post.
“Oh goodness 🥹🥹🫶🏾,” singer Kayla Nicole wrote.

“The most precious 😍” wrote photographer Heather Smith, who has captured equally adorable snapshots of the Mahomes family in the past including the recent black-and-white portraits that melted our hearts.
“You always have her dressed so cute and her hair done so nice. She is a doll and I can tell she is well-loved. ❤️,” one follower said, and yes, she is a major fashionista and, if her second birthday party is any indication, very well-loved.
Patrick shared Brittany’s post to his Instagram story with two hearts.
In the final picture in the carousel, Patrick throws Sterling high in the air (well above the gym equipment!) while everyone goes about their business. It’s a sweet and intimate photo and it’s far from the first time we’ve seen some major daddy-daughter love.
Daddy’s Girl
It’s no secret that Sterling is her dad’s twin, his biggest fan, and is following in his athletic footsteps. Although soccer seems to be more her speed, which comes from mom Brittany Mahomes.
In a video Patrick posted on his Instagram story, Sterling kicked around a ball and, in typical toddler fashion, took a very long time to get to the net before making up her own rules.
“Good job!” he joked after she pushed the ball in with her hands.
Outside the Weight Room
When Sterling isn’t at work with her dad, she can be found playing outside. In a recent Instagram story, Brittany showed off Sterling’s stash of reusable water balloons. YUP! A genius product, right?!
A Well-Rounded Toddler
Sterling is more than just a little athlete-in-training — she’s also into the arts. In March, she took over the director’s chair for her dad’s latest commercial, and we can see an Oscar in her future!
