Kris Jenner took to Instagram today and shared an unexpected birthday tribute. It’s her ex-son-in-law’s 40th birthday today and the media personality was not going to let it pass without being publicly acknowledged. I guess you don’t just breeze past these kinds of things when the SIL in question is a self-proclaimed lord (*eye roll*).
That’s right, Scott Disick just turned the big 4-0.

And I mean, he is the dad of four of Jenner’s grandkids — Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8 — who he shares with ex-wife Kourtney Kardashian, but that still feels like a weird amount of love to share with her 52.1 million followers for an adult man who divorced her daughter. Jenner has written a lot of birthday tributes this year, including ones for her son Rob, her daughter Kourtney, and her grandkids Aire, Stormi, Chicago, True, and Psalm. The one that touched us the most was one that she shared in honor of her late husband Robert Kardashian. It included a montage of old home movies with Robert and his kids set to “Dance With My Father” and it honestly made us emotional.

Kris Jenner is obviously the queen of birthday tributes, so maybe it’s only fitting and completely on-brand that she wrote such a glowing birthday endorsement of the beloved “lord” in her life.
