Serena Williams is in her comedian era now that Baby No. 2 is taking over her body. The tennis legend took to Instagram to share a stunning photo of her voluptuous pregnancy curves while vacationing in Italy, and according to the Grand Slam winner, the va-va-voom comes with a warning.
Wearing a figure-hugging black dress, Williams turned to the side and cradled her belly to show off her little one’s growing size. She funnily captioned the stunning shot, “CAUTION: Things are not always how they appear.” She explained, “I am Seriously trying to figure out if the baby is in the front or….back,” referencing her baby bump and equally curvy booty.
Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, popped up in the comments section to write, “This kid somehow kicks more than Olympia. It’s everywhere 🤪”
The duo recently announced the imminent arrival of their second child ahead of the 2023 Met Gala. Sharing photos on Instagram of her and Ohanian’s looks for the event, the tennis superstar wrote, “Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala.” She confirmed the pregnancy at the gala with the debut of her growing belly.

Williams and Ohanian share a 5-year-old daughter, Olympia, in addition to their baby on the way. The professional athlete was incredibly two months pregnant with her eldest child when she won the Austrailian Open in 2017.
Waiting to Tell Olympia the News
After announcing her second pregnancy, Williams shared a video on YouTube of herself and Ohanian sharing the news with their daughter.
“Olympia does not know right now that I am pregnant, so the big reveal will be at the Met, and then before we leave, I’ll tell Olympia,” Williams said in the video ahead of the reveal. She added, “The reason I haven’t told her is because she can’t keep a secret.”
Olympia’s Response
Sitting down on the couch with Olympia and Ohanian, Williams asked the little girl, “Remember how you’ve been praying for a little sister or brother?”
Olympia nodded, and Williams continued, “Well I went to the doctor and it turns out I’m not getting fat” — the tennis star shared at the beginning of the video that her daughter had called her fat without understanding she was pregnant — “but I have a baby in my belly,” Williams revealed.
Olympia said, “Are you kidding me?” before Ohanian answered, “No, you’re going to be a big sister.” The 5-year-old excitedly shrieked and hugged her mom, who lovingly hugged her back.
