It’s summer vacation season, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas is doing it right! The Citadel star is in Liverpool, England, with her husband Nick Jonas and their 16-month-old daughter Malti Marie, and it looks like so much fun!

The first one is a selfie with her and Jonas, where she lets the world know she’s on a break with a cute “Out Of Office” ballcap. Slide to picture three to see the adorable baby Malti admiring her teal Bulgari purse (our hearts!).
Other photos from the trip offer a clue into how to successfully travel with a toddler, so take notes!
Step One: Travel With Other Families
In pictures from a train ride, Malti is sitting next to another baby who looks to be similar in age. This is a genius idea: if you can swing it, travel with another family. They will understand meltdown delays, help you hunt for toddler-friendly restaurants, and even be on the same crazy schedule as you are.
Step Two: Bring Stickers
Stickers can make any train, plane, or car ride more fun! In one photo, Malti and her friend are putting animal stickers on the train window. These look especially cool as it’s raining, and it looks like the animals are hanging outside. These will keep your baby entertained for hours (and are relatively easy to clean up afterward).

Step Three: Bring Water Toys
It’s summertime, so one thing that needs to be on your packing list is water toys! Whether you are going to the beach or to visit family, you can pack a portable inflatable pool or splash pad for your baby to let loose on. This can easily be set up on a hotel balcony or a backyard to keep your baby entertained. Malti brought toys to play in a splash pad on the patio, and she looks like she’s having a blast!
This pool is a great choice for traveling — at less than 40″ in diameter, it’s the perfect size for babies and toddlers, and folds up compactly enough to travel with.
Step Four: Bring Grandma
Again, not everyone can bring their grandma on vacation, but Malti Marie had both her dad’s mom and her mom’s mom with her — and it makes complete sense. If you are going to travel with little ones, it’s always easier to have more adults than kids to help out!
