Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson put his acting skills to the test last weekend during playtime with his daughter Tia, 5, and the resulting video is so funny.
“How do you play doctor, could you explain it?” Johnson asks his daughter in the video on Instagram. Tia is dressed in a white dress and holds up a toy thermometer to the camera and says, “We’re putting this in your mouth.”

“Is that to take my temperature?” The Rock asks, and Tia says, “Yeah.” Like any good dad, he gamely puts the toy in his mouth while she clicks it. She takes it out and he asks what the temperature is, then follows up with, “Doc, is that the rectal thermometer?”
“Mmmhmm!” she sweetly replies.
“It is?!” he says and starts laughing. The joke went totally over her head but somehow that makes it even funnier.

The Rock wrote in the caption, “I know one day years from now, play dates with Daddy won’t be cool anymore so I’ll take every minute I can… rectal thermometers and all 😂🙋🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️.”
He added that he was a “proud” girl dad. “Every man wants a son, but every man needs a daughter. #ProudGirlDadOfThree 🌺 💪🏾#HappyFathersDay 🩵.”

The Rock shares daughters Tia and Jasmine, 7, with wife Lauren Hashian. He is also dad to Ava Raine, 21.
His youngest daughters often prank him, and it’s so cute to see. The Young Rock star opened up about the pranks in Oct. 2022.
“My superpower as a dad is the ability to not figure out why I keep falling for the ‘Daddy close your eyes’ trick and I get peanut butter in the face, my face drawn on, kicked in the nuts,” he jokingly told PEOPLE. “Everything happens, that’s my superpower.”
“I’m a fool,” he added. “I don’t understand why I don’t get it.”
Message for Fathers
On Father’s Day, The Rock took to Instagram to write a heartfelt message for dads.
“This message is for all my guys out there around the world,” he said. “Accept your flowers today, my brothers 💐 Massive respect and love as we got thru this wild, noisy, complicated, beautiful life as men and fathers.”
He jokingly added, “And ‘I’ll take care it’ is four words not three 😂 Happy Father’s Day 💪🏾🩵”
