After the birth of his daughter in January, Shemar Moore has undoubtedly gone through all the firsts that new parents go through. Experiencing the first sleepless night, seeing their first smile, giving them their first bottle, and taking them on their first stroller walk. Well this weekend, he had another major first.
“1st Father’s Day EVER… for me!!!” the S.W.A.T. star captioned a vulnerable Instagram post. “BLESSED and GRATEFUL!! My father wasn’t in my life… I never celebrated Father’s Day…”
He went on to express his gratitude for his late mother who he “celebrated and honored” every day. Her dream was to be a grandmother, he said, and even though she didn’t get to see that day or meet little Frankie (how cute is that name?!), his girlfriend Jesiree Dizon made that dream come true.
“MY LIL MIRACLE… ‘Frankie Moore,'” he continued on the carousel of new photos with him holding his sweet and smooshy little girl who is wearing pajamas and a wrist rattle (yes, those are a thing!). “My mother was my purpose…. Now Frankie is my purpose for the rest of my life!!! With all that I have experienced and accomplished, My daughter is my GREATEST TRIUMPH!!! Momma Marilyn went to Heaven and told God to give her son the GREATEST GIFT of his life… FRANKIE n FAMILY!!! …… ‘Mom I made it'”
The new dad certainly “made it,” and he made us tear up too.

Dizon — who has two kids from previous relationships — also shared a touching Father’s Day post. The actress made a video with footage of the new dad holding, rocking, and kissing their infant.
“Daddy looks good on you 😍🥰,” she captioned the post. “HAPPY FIRST FATHER’S DAY, STUD. We love and appreciate you more than you know ❤️.”

It’s clear Moore is loving girl dad life. “My life belongs to you Frankie ❤️🥰 #Daddy #Babygirl 😉,” he captioned a recent heartwarming photo.
He also shared a hilarious side-by-side of them that we truly cannot get over. The similarities are uncanny.
Goofing Off With His Girl
In February, Moore posted a super funny video of Frankie. She was sound asleep in his arms and he had her propped up on his stomach while he pretended she was talking.
“Get that pout on,” he told her as his sleeping daughter made a stank face. “That’s what your mama be doing.”
He then wiggled her around, making her dance.
“What’s up, boys?” he said for her. “You like what you see?…I bet you do. But my daddy right there will f— you up.”
It’s been months and it still cracks us up.
