In just a few weeks, Meghan Trainor’s baby boy will be born (!!), and her 2-year-old son Riley will officially be a big brother! The “Mother” singer is trying to prep her toddler — as much as anyone really can! — and she shared the most heartwarming video from the moment.
“Riley is ready to meet his baby bro🥹,” Trainor wrote over a video posted to TikTok. In the clip, Riley is holding a baby doll with both hands, as his dad Daryl Sabara sits next to him.

Riley, who is the most adorable little boy ever with his sweet red hair and bright blue glasses, then leans forward and gives the doll a big kiss on the head. He pulls back to look at the little doll, and the whole thing is just too pure for this world.

Belly Talk
The “Made You Look” singer included several more super sweet Riley moments in the video. Like one point, when Riley leans down to kiss his mama’s pregnant belly. Or another point, when he gives his baby doll a hug, then proceeds to rub his head.
One of the cutest parts is when he leans down to his mom’s pregnant belly, sticks his whole face in it, and starts gabbing away in toddler-talk. We have no idea what he’s saying — but he’s telling his baby brother all about it in the most enthusiastic voice. Our hearts are piles of mush after seeing that!

Basically nobody can handle Riley’s cuteness.

Big Brother
In a March 2023 interview with SheKnows, the Dear Future Mama author called Riley “extremely chill” and opened up about how she thinks he’ll be as a big brother.
“When he’s with younger kids, he’s very soft and sweet,” she told us. “And he hugs — like we barely hug — we just grab him and smother him. But I have videos of him being like ‘mmm’ and hugging [other babies]. He’s such a gentle, sweet boy, I don’t know how we got so lucky.”
She went on, “[I]t’ll be great. And then I bought like baby dolls, and he’ll hold them. Then he’ll be like, ‘All done!’ and he throws it. And we’re like, ‘Wait, wait, wait! Be gentle!’ And he knows ‘kiss.’ Like every night before bed, he’ll say, ‘Kiss?’, so I think he’ll try to kiss the new baby.”
