A lot of things about Kylie Jenner — and the Kardashian-Jenner family as a whole — are wildly unrelatable. However, Jenner’s recent TikTok sharing her “mommy and daughter day” with Stormi is surprisingly normal, and it includes a touching teaching moment that has us applauding the 25-year-old’s parenting skills.
The sweet video starts with the duo sitting in the car, and the Kylie Cosmetics founder explains, “Today, we are going on a mommy and daughter adventure.” Turning to Stormi in the backseat, Jenner asks, “Where are we going?” The 5-year-old answers with a big smile on her face, “We’re going to Target,” and Jenner jokingly says, “It’s ‘Targét!’”

The mom of two continues, “She woke up this morning and she said, ‘I want a mommy-daughter day,'” beaming at Stormi while cupping her cheek. Turning back to the camera, Jenner says, “So that’s what we’re doing! We’re going to go to Targét, and then we’re going to get ice cream.” It’s very sweet and normal — a rare relatable moment for one of the world’s most wealthy and famous women.
Another moment many moms will relate to is Stormi’s unimpressed opinion of her mama’s outfit of the day. Still in the car, Jenner shows her black smock dress with puff sleeves and explains, “I asked Stormi if she liked my dress and she said, ‘Yes… and no.'” Stormi corrects, “No, I said, ‘No yes!'” With a laugh, Jenner says, “I don’t know what that means, but… We’re still wearing it.” Brutally honest critics, these kids! Never a dull moment in the life of a parent.
Sharing Their Haul
Jenner captured a cute clip of her and Stormi walking hand-in-hand through the store’s parking lot, then of her daughter sitting inside a shopping cart while she navigated the kids’ clothing section.
Showing a pile of Crocs, flip flops, and rain boots, Jenner says, “We got a lot of shoes,” adding that she “had to” get the rain boots “even though it’s not raining anymore.” That’s the power of Target — you always walk out with at least one thing you didn’t plan on buying and don’t really need!
The mom of two also picked up a backpack for each of her kids, Minnie Mouse for Stormi and Baby Shark for Aire. Again, surprisingly normal for a Kar-Jenner who is known to dress her littles in designer clothing.
Revealing the Condition of Their Trip
The camera then cuts to Stormi in a toy aisle, though not for the reason you may be expecting. Jenner says, “I told Stormi, if we’re going to get a toy, then what? We have to make a basket for what?” she asks her daughter. Checking out the toy selection, Stormi replies, “Donating,” which Jenner confirms with their plan to fill the shopping cart.
The 5-year-old piles a variety of toys in the basket, including Chelsea dolls, Spidey action figures, a dinosaur toy, a baby doll, and much more. Once the cart is full, Jenner turns the camera to herself and Stormi as she says, “I’m proud of you,” and plants a kiss on the little girl’s cheek.
