Bindi Irwin knows what her social media followers want to see, and it’s lots and lots of lookalike content with her daughter, Grace Warrior.
Taking to her Instagram, the 24-year-old frequently shares throwback photos and videos of herself as a child in comparison to more recent imagery of her 2-year-old. On Sunday, the wildlife enthusiast posted a Reel with footage of herself as a toddler at a beach with her mom, Terri Irwin, compared to footage of Grace at a beach with Bindi and her husband, Chandler Powell. The physical similarities between Bindi and Grace have always been notable, but they’re striking in this most recent video.

The Reel begins with a short clip of Terri holding Bindi up by the hands so the little girl can walk across the sand without falling down. The throwback footage cuts to adult Bindi leading her own daughter exactly how her mother once led her. Another clip shows baby Bindi walking across the beach on her own, followed by one of Grace doing the same. The Reel cuts to a close-up of Terri and Bindi of the past, then to a close-up of Bindi and Grace of the present. Bindi’s face as a tot looks nearly identical to her daughter’s baby face — and they’re both wearing pink outfits, which makes the similarities seem even stronger.
Another throwback clip shows Terri putting a stick in a small mound of sand on a log, which Bindi promptly plucks out of the pile. The footage cuts to Chandler placing a leaf on a rock in front of Grace, who quickly leans forward to grab it in a nearly identical movement to that of her mom as a child. The two not only share an uncanny physical resemblance but also astonishingly similar mannerisms.
She Got It From Her Mama
Fans of the Irwins expressed similar shock at how alike Bindi and Grace are in looks and mannerisms, with one person writing, “oh my gosh she’s your twin 🥹.” Another user commented. “She is definitely Bindi’s mini-me,” while someone else penned, “When she had on that hat, I knew exactly who she favored more. That is mama right there!”
Giving Dad Some Credit Too… Sort Of
Many people think Grace resembles Chandler quite a bit, but Bindi’s new video has caused some sway in that opinion. One fan commented on the Reel, “ok I thought she looked just like Chandler but now 🤯.” Another admirer gave dad some credit, writing, “She’s the perfect mix of both of you 🤍.”

Bindi and Chandler share one daughter, whom they welcomed in March 2021 exactly one year after they married in 2020. For Grace’s second birthday, the proud mama wrote on Instagram, “Grace Warrior, you are the sunshine that fills our lives. Every day I am amazed by your hundreds of words and smiles, fascination for the natural world/every animal you discover and your adventurous soul.”
Bindi added, “You see wonder in everything and remind me that the world is made of magic. Being your mama is the best part of my life.” The adorable Irwin family moments just keep coming, and we absolutely love to see it.
