Gwyneth Paltrow’s new rare photo of her son Moses had us staring a little longer than usual out of sheer fascination — because the 17-year-old is a carbon copy of his dad, Chris Martin.
Sharing the snap on her Instagram Story, Paltrow and her youngest child stood side by side with reserved expressions. The Goop founder wore a red and white striped short sleeve button-up shirt, white shorts, and a crossbody bag with a vibrant orange strap. Her blonde tresses were tucked back in a low bun, and her face was makeup free in her signature carefree style.

Moses matched his mom’s aesthetic in a white short sleeve button-up shirt, a black tie, and black pleated shorts. He wore a small black back on his shoulder, black sunglasses atop his head, and red sneakers for a pop of color. The teen’s hair was styled in a shaggy cut that has a retro rock band vibe — and speaking of rock bands, Moses’ features are the spitting image of his Coldplay frontman father’s.
While Moses’ 19-year-old sister Apple is their movie star mom’s doppelganger, the youngest Martin resembles their musician father with his piercing blue eyes, broad forehead, and identical mouth and nose. One fan took a screenshot of the Marvel actress’ photo and tweeted a side-by-side comparison of it to a shot of the “Yellow” singer in 2000, and fans raved over the similarities between the father and son.

Paltrow and Martin met in 2002 at one of the Coldplay singer’s concerts, and they married in 2003. The couple welcomed their daughter a year later, and their son followed in 2006. The Seven actress and “Paradise” singer spent over a decade as husband and wife before “consciously uncoupling,” with their divorce being finalized in 2015. Even though they’re no longer romantically involved, the two have an amicable relationship today.
What Apple Is Up To
Although Apple is currently in college, she may have a future in the fashion industry. The 19-year-old made her fashion week debut in January 2023, sitting front-row at the Chanel Haute Couture Spring/Summer show. The world is certainly enamored by the up-and-coming “It” girl and all there is to know about her!
Moses’ Activities & Aspirations
Moses Martin has yet to graduate high school, but the 17-year-old is already making a name for himself in the music industry. For Coldplay’s 2021 album, Music of the Spheres, Moses sang the chorus of “Humankind” with his dad and is credited for his vocals on the track.
Additionally, Apple has a songwriting credit on the album’s “Let Somebody Go” track for co-writing the lyrics. We can’t wait to see what the two Martin kids will get involved in the older they get — big things await, no doubt.
