Chrissy Teigen Is ‘Protecting’ Fans From the Newest Video of Her Kids But It’s the Cutest 4th of July Footage We’ve Seen

Chrissy Teigen shared a video today of her four kiddos on the 4th of July that almost didn’t make it to her feed. It’s a video Teigen wanted to “protect” fans from, and it’s a video we’ve watched a truly embarrassing amount of times. Except, perhaps that’s the best way to show our patriotism the day after the 4th, right? By rewatching an adorable video?

In the footage, her four kids sit on the grass in matching blue and white gingham outfits from Ivy City Co. Her oldest daughter, Luna, 7, sits criss-cross-applesauce in the grass holding her 2-week-old little brother, Wren in the crook of her arm. Next to them, Miles, 5 is sitting with his little sister Esti, 5 months, between his legs. Luna looks like an absolute angel, smiling confidently at the camera while holding Wren. When he starts crying, she looks at him adoringly, adjusting his positioning and rubbing his arms to comfort the little guy.

Meanwhile, Miles supports Esti who is happy but wriggly. He has a nervous smile, trying to get her to stay still before crossing his legs around her in an attempt to get her to stay still. The whole thing is so precious, with the big siblings looking out for the little ones and doing their best to keep them comfortable.

So what did we need protection from?

“muted to protect your ears from john [legend] and i making extremely annoying animal noises ❤️🤍💙,” Teigen captioned her post.

Oh god, we know those animal noises all too well. It’s the sound of parents desperately trying to get all kids to look in the same direction and smile at the same time. They are desperate, pleading sounds that we’ve all made. Honestly, we would keep watching the video even if it wasn’t muted, but as someone who hates hearing recordings of her voice when it’s “normal,” the thought of other people hearing my “annoying, animalistic” voice is a nightmare.
