Keke Palmer Throws Shade at Her Judgmental Boyfriend & We Love to See Her Stand Her Ground

Keke Palmer has been an absolute motherhood icon ever since she announced her pregnancy during her Saturday Night Live monologue. The comedian welcomed her son Leodis in February — who she shares with her [hopefully-not-for-long] boyfriend Darius Jackson — and her recent posts are proving she’s just as legendary postpartum.

Jackson publicly shamed Palmer in one of the grossest displays of chauvinism we’ve seen in a long time (see the full deets below), and now she’s giving fans a master class on how to throw some major shade at misogynistic a-holes.

The actress posted a video of her singing “Isn’t She Lovely” to Leodis over the weekend, and it’s so precious. She also included some super sweet pictures of her and the infant and shared screenshots of the new shirts she’s selling because of Jackson’s BS. And the best part? The epic caption.

“One thing is certain and one thing is true, IM A MOTHA, through and through! 😍,” she wrote in response to Jackson’s bigoted view on motherhood. “To all my mom’s out there, how did your baby change you?? Mine empowered me! On such another level, my perspective changed because when my baby is good I’m GREAT!”

Yes, Keke, yes! Go after him! Fans were in agreement, knowing exactly what she was doing with that caption and flooding her comments with praise.

“Period because no man going to invalidate your motherhood, or try to publicly shame you.” “And she didn’t even address or disrespect him in public…A Queen and A Motha.” “The best passive-aggressive response in history.”
