What’s even more exciting than a celebrity pregnancy announcement? A celebrity sex reveal, of course!
Between the time they wow the world with news of a baby on the way and update the masses of the little one’s earth-side arrival, celebrities — like any other expecting parents — often host a sex reveal to indicate whether their bundle of joy will be male or female. While gender identity is of course fluid and up to the child to ultimately signify as they grow into their sense of self, sex reveals are just another fun way for excited parents-to-be to learn a little more about the person who will be joining their family and changing their lives forever.
The world has seen some truly awesome celebrity sex reveals over the years, from grand unveilings to intimate moments and everything in between. In January 2023, Shemar Moore and Jesiree Dizon went big with their sex reveal, hiring a helicopter to fly over their party and release either pink or blue smoke to signify whether they’d be welcoming a baby girl or boy.

In a video shared on his Instagram, the Diary of a Mad Black Woman star excitedly said, “Today is the day. Your boy got butterflies. This is a special day. This is a legendary day.” The actor continued, “Today, your boy, Shemar motherf—king Moore, is about to find out if he’s going to be a daddy to a little girl or a little boy. It’s going down. It’s either going to be Legend, little homie, or it’s going to be Frankie, little baby girl,” Moore rhapsodized.
