It’s an emotional time for Heather Rae El Moussa. Her baby Tristan just reached a big milestone: his six-month birthday! The Selling Sunset start wrote a heartwarming note to her baby boy to mark the occasion, and it’ll leave tears in your eyes.

“My Tristan bear you are 6 months old today,” Heather Rae started out her note on Instagram. “So curious , happy, cuddly and chill. Your zen soul is beautiful and the world is a better place because of your kind heart.”
She continued, “My life so full with you in it sweet boy. Mama loves you beautiful boy. Best friends forever 🤍.” What a beautiful tribute to her son!

Heather Rae, who shares Tristan with husband Tarek El Moussa, also shared two pictures of her baby boy. In the first, she lies down on her bed, fresh-faced and glowing, as she smiles and gazes into her baby’s eyes. He’s wearing a diaper and a pajama top, as he holds his mom’s hand. The little guy has his eyes locked on his mama like she’s the only thing he cares about in the world.
The second photo is a milestone picture, where Tristan lies down on a blanket and holds a “six months” plaque. He’s dressed in tiny khaki shorts and a plaid top that looks like Burberry. Nothing but the finest fashion for the cutie pie!
Happy Half-Birthday
Many people wished Tristan a happy half-birthday, including Bri Tiesi. She wrote, “This pic is adorable🥹 I can’t believe he’s 6m already! Time is a thief 😩😩.”
“Happy half birthday! My daughter is 6 months old today too! ♡♡” another said.
Her Selling Sunset co-star Chrishell Stause said, “Cutieeeee.”
“Boys are mama’s besties for life ❤️,” someone else said.
One person gave Heather Rae some encouragement. “You got through the hardest part!!” they wrote. “The newborn stage… it gets so fun from here on out!! you’re a wonderful mommy!! Enjoy!! ❤️😍.”
They Have a ‘Perfectly Imperfect’ Blended Family
In addition to baby Tristan, Heather Rae is also step-mom to Tarek’s kids Taylor, 12, and Brayden, 7, with ex Christina Hall. Last month, they went on a family vacation, which Heather Rae described as “perfectly imperfect.”
“Our family of 5 ❤️,” Heather Rae said on Instagram. “Perfectly imperfect, crazy, loud, filled with so much love and laughter, lots of smiles, never dull… Love them so much and can’t imagine our life without them.”
“This trip was amazing but getting a photo of all of us was the cherry on top 🥰❤️,” she added.
Heather Rae Claps Back at Mom Shamers
Heather Rae and Tarek welcomed Baby Tristan in Feb. 2023. Since then, The Flipping El Moussas star has shared several relatable moments about mom life. Like when he was a few weeks old, she wrote, “I’ve never been this exhausted but in love at the same time. My little man…. Mama loves you 🤍 TJEM.”
In an interview with TODAY.com in June 2023, she shared her experience getting mom shamed for using a nanny with her son. (Something that many working parents have to do!)
“As a working mother, I need to be able to have help so that I can do the things that I need to do. I’m very proud of what I do, but I need help,” Heather Rae told the outlet. “I can’t do everything. I’m not Superwoman and I can’t be in two places at one time.”
She added, “No one should get shamed for needing help. The mom guilt is already strong. I do have to leave Tristan — it’s already hard enough as it is, and to get shamed on top of it for having a nanny? It’s not OK.”
