There’s no more baby mama drama in Elon Musk’s life! Grimes and Neuralink exec Shivon Zilis — who share three and two kids with Musk, respectively — are clearing the air about any previous disagreements and even planning on a play date with their children!
The “Player of Games” singer posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) about the previously wrought situation between her and Zilis.

“Hey, I wud prefer to not breathe any more life into this current press cycle but I want to de-escalate the narrative atm,” she wrote. “I spoke with Shivon at length finally, which was long overdue. This wasn’t her fault, plz don’t be angry at her! We respect each other a lot and we’re excited to become friends and have the kids grow up together.”
Grimes went on to praise Zilis. “Women are so often pitted against each other. Speaking with Shivon, it’s very evident she’s an amazing human and we both just want what’s best for our kids.”

At the end of her tweet, she confirmed the rumors that she has a third child with Musk named Techno “Tau” Mechanicus.”I wish I could show u how cute little Techno is 👽 but my priority rn is keeping my babies out of the public eye,” she said, asking for people to “respect” that.
Shivon Zilis Responds to Grimes’ Tweet
Zilis responded to Grimes’ tweet, confirming that the two are planning a play date with their kids like one big happy blended family.
“At the end of the day it all ended up for the best!” Zilis said. “Thank you for taking the time to really connect and understand each other. So glad we had such a wonderful talk, was insanely overdue.”
“You’re a total badass and I respect you very much as well. I can’t wait for kiddo play date and congrats on baby Tau as well!” she added.
So far, Musk hasn’t commented on this blended family play date plan, but we bet he’s supportive.
Tensions Were High Between Grimes & Shivon Zilis Last Week
Last week, tensions were high between Grimes and Zilis. Biographer Walter Isaacson shared a photo of Musk and Zilis with their twins, born in Nov. 2021, revealing their names were Strider and Azule.
Grimes commented on the photo in a now-deleted tweet, claiming that the situation with Zilis was “ripping” her family apart.
“Tell Shivon to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer,” she said. “I have never been allowed to see a photo of these children until this moment, despite the situation utterly ripping my family apart.”
Elon Musk Has 11 Kids Now
Musk and Zilis’ twins were born just one month before he and Grimes welcomed 21-month-old daughter Exa “Y” Dark Sideræl. Musk and Grimes also share sons X “X” Æ A-12, 3, and Tau, whose birthday has not been revealed. The Space X CEO is also dad to twins Vivian Jenna Wilson and Griffin, 19; triplets Kai, Damian, and Sax, 17; and Nevada, who died at 10 weeks old, with ex-wife Justine Wilson.
In July 2022, Musk said that he’s having kids to help fight the “collapsing birth rate.”
“Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis,” he wrote on X. “A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far. Mark my words, they are sadly true.”
