If you thought pregnancy looked good on Rihanna, it’s nothing compared to mom life! She is reportedly “loving every minute” of being a mom to two boys with A$AP Rocky, and we love seeing her so happy.
The “Diamonds” singer is mom to RZA, born in May 2022, and Riot Rose, born in August 2023. An insider told Us Weeklythis week that Rihanna and Rocky are “still adjusting as parents of two and loving every minute of it.”
Going from one to two babies — especially when they are so close in age! — isn’t easy, but luckily RiRi and the “RIOT” singer are working together.

“Rihanna has taken to motherhood like a total natural and Rocky is the most amazing father she could have hoped for,” the source went on. “He rarely leaves her side and loves spending time with his family.”
They also have family close by to help out. “Rihanna and Rocky’s families are also very close and provide a huge support system for them and the babies so it really is a team effort,” the source said. They added that Rihanna is the ultimate mama bear and is “super protective of her sons.”
More Kids Are Still on the Table
Although they are still in the chaotic, exhausting, and amazing newborn phase, Rihanna and Rocky are reportedly still considering having more kids together.
“Rihanna loves children and having a girl would be amazing, but it’s too early to tell if they want more kids,” the source told Us Weekly. “But Rihanna has always wanted a big family so that’s something that’s definitely still on the table.”
Being a Mom Is ‘Everything’ to Rihanna
In February, the “Lift Me Up” singer told Vogue UKabout how her life had changed since becoming a mom.
“Oh, my God, it’s legendary. It’s everything. You really don’t remember life before, that’s the craziest thing ever,” she said. “You literally try to remember it — and there are photos of my life before — but the feeling, the desires, the things that you enjoy, everything, you just don’t identify with it because you don’t even allow yourself mentally to get that far, because… Because it doesn’t matter.”
She also gave an insight into what life was like with a newborn. “Man, you’re a zombie for the most part. You’re just going through the motions, and even then you’re so paranoid. Because you’re like: they trusted us to come home with this baby? This new life? With us? No doctors, no nurses, we’re just… going home?”
“You are joyful when you get the time to shower,” Rihanna added. “I remember in the beginning I used to roll his bassinet into the bathroom and be showering and like wiping the fog off [the glass] just to peep at him. … His little wake-up face, seeing his face change, seeing his color come in, just all of these changes [were my favorite].”
Motherhood Is Her ‘Superpower’
In a Nov. 2022 interview with Extra, the Grammy winner revealed that motherhood is her “superpower.”
“There’s this weird sh*t that happens when you become a mom, that you just unleash or unlock other parts of your superpower, you feel like you can take on or you could do anything,” she said.
Rihanna added about motherhood: “It is crazy. It is amazing. It’s wild. It’s weird. It’s all of those things, all at once. The best feeling, the best. The most love I’ve ever known. I can’t describe it. It’s new. It’s fascinating. Every step, every facial expression, every new milestone. I love it.”
