Adam Sandler’s daughters Sunny, 14, and Sadie, 17, just got to live every teenager’s dream. (And, let’s be honest, every adult’s dream, too.) The You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah stars attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Film premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday, where they got to meet Swift herself!
Taylor Swift Hugs Sunny & Sadie
Sandler and his daughters were absent from the red carpet, but they were seen in a video with Sandler dressed in a white floral shirt talking to his teens after the movie. (PEOPLE has the video HERE.)
Another viral video, shared by Deadline Hollywood, shows the “Anti-Hero” singer leaving the theater after the showing, where she spots Sandler and his daughters in the audience. She made her way over to the family to give the Murder Mystery 2 star and his daughters a big hug, which left the teens smiling in awe.
Then, Sandler pulled out his phone and snapped a photo of Swift standing in between the teens. She wrapped her arms around their heads for a big hug as they posed for the picture. Can you imagine? (Watch the video HERE.)
Adam Sandler’s Daughters Are Movie Stars
Sandler shares Sunny and Sadie with wife Jackie. All four recently appeared in the Netflix comedy, You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, which was a coming-of-age story about Stacy (played by Sunny) planning her bat mitzvah. She has a room full of Taylor Swift posters and longs to move to New York in the hopes of seeing the mega star one day, which makes this real-life meeting so much cooler.
That wasn’t the only nod to real life. The film’s director Sammi Cohen told PEOPLE, “What’s really funny is right before we started prepping for the film, Sunny had her actual bat mitzvah. So I went to that service, and we got to do the real-life bat mitzvah and then left to make the movie. It was a really fun life movie moment.”
Taylor Swift Loves Her Fans
The “Karma” singer has had many sweet moments with celebrity kids. Many A-listers brought their kids to see her perform live at the Eras Tour. Swift gave Vanessa Bryant’s 6-year-old daughter Bianka a hug and her bowler hat during a performance of “22.” She gave Alicia Keys’ 8-year-old son Genesis a hug and a kiss on the cheek. And she gave Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ daughters James, 8, and Inez, 6, a shout-out from the stage. She is truly the sweetest superstar ever.
