While much of the actual celebrating of Hanukkah happens after the sun goes down and the menorah comes out, there is so much time during the day when antsy kids want to be doing something festive. And if the novelty of playing dreidel or eating sufganiyot has worn off (is that even possible?!), these free printable coloring pages are a perfect way to keep kids happy and occupied until it’s time to light the candles.
All you need is a printer (check your local library if you don’t have one!) and your coloring utensil of choice. We’re currently obsessed with Honeysticks crayons made from non-toxic New Zealand beeswax. Just be sure your little ones wipe any powdered sugar or latke grease off their hands before grabbing a coloring sheet and starting on their next masterpiece.
Parenting Hack: Realize you only have enough presents for seven nights? Print out all the sheets and DIY an entire Hanukkah coloring book by compiling the pages together with a stapler or a hole punch and some ribbon. No one will be the wiser!
