What is the best piece of parenting advice you ever received? (VIDEO)

Everyone has parenting advice, but it’s not always that great. Melissa Gilbert lets us in on what her parents told her.

Melissa says, “The best piece of parenting advice I ever received was from my dad. He told me, after I didn’t get a role I wanted, to never worry about things like that because it was meant to be and something better is going to come along. Of course, I was like 8 or 9 and didn’t believe him. Two weeks later, I got cast in Little House on the Prairie. My mother also had some great advice, and that was, ‘No running by the pool!'”
