Pictures of baby and puppy bonding are so sweet it actually hurts

Baby boy Dilan and French bulldog pup Farley were born on the same day, which might explain their amazing bond.

Dilan’s mum Ivette Ivens, a Chicago-based photographer, was looking online for a pet and said, when she saw that the French bulldog pup’s birthdate was the same as her baby son’s, she knew it was “meant to be.”

Farley was brought into the family when Dilan was three months old and from that moment Ivette captured their growing bond over the course of five months, resulting in an adorable series of images.

Lithuanian-born Ivens, 25, told the Daily Mail: “Farley helps me a lot, actually. He cleans up Dilan’s mess after he eats, and always licks Dilan’s neck if he is crying, so he starts laughing out loud. It’s pretty cute.

“Farley is very gentle and clumsy at times — we have to remember he is still only a baby, too. I just take these photographs during random parts of the day. There’s no need for another inspiration or idea when you see this out-of-control cuteness happening 24/7.”

As you can see Dilan and Farley do pretty much everything together. We almost can’t handle the cuteness.
