Drew Barrymore
Drew Barrymore is an American actress, talk show host, producer, director, and entrepreneur.
She was born on February 22, 1975, to parents, actor John Drew and Jaid Barrymore. Drew comes from a family of well-known actors such as John Barrymore, Dolores Costello, Lionel Barrymore, and Ethel Barrymore.
Drew's first credited role was at the young age of three. She then rose to prominence as a child actor in classic films like E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Babes in Toyland, and Firestarter.
Despite early struggles with addiction, she made a successful comeback in the late 1990s, and starred in iconic films like The Wedding Singer, Ever After, and Never Been Kissed, to name a few.
She was nominated for a BAFTA for her role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, won a Golden Globe for Grey Gardens, and won an SAG Award for Grey Gardens.
In recent years, she has drifted from acting to focusing on producing, directing, and business. Drew founded her own production company, Flower Films, in 1995 and a cosmetics line called Flower Beauty in 2013. She also has an Amazon clothing line called Dear Drew and a home line called Beautiful by Drew Barrymore.
Drew is also the host of her talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show, which started in 2020. It is a CBS show that talks about human-interest stories and celebrity guests. Along with that, she has published four books.
She is also the mother of two daughters, Olive, born in September 2012, and Frankie, born in April 2014, both of whom she shares with her ex-husband, Will Kopelman.
