Giada De Laurentiis

Giada De Laurentiis is an Italian-American chef, author, and television personality. Born on August 22, 1970, in Rome, Italy, she is well-known for her Food Network cooking shows and bestselling cookbooks.

De Laurentiis' debut cooking show, Everyday Italian, premiered on Food Network in 2003. The show focused on easy-to-make Italian dishes inspired by her family's recipes and her culinary training in Italy and France. Since then, she has hosted several other successful cooking shows, including Giada at Home, Giada's Weekend Getaways, and Giada in Italy. After 12 seasons, Everyday Italian filmed its last episode in 2008.

In addition to her television career, Giada De Laurentiis has authored numerous cookbooks, many of which have become bestsellers. Her recipes often blend Italian flavors with a modern and approachable twist, making them popular among home cooks. She also launched her blog and e-commerce website, Giadzy, in 2016.

De Laurentiis shares one daughter, Jade (born in 2008), with her ex-husband Todd Thompson. Thompson and De Laurentiis divorced in 2014 and De Laurentiis has been dating television producer Shane Farley since 2015.
