Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Anne Garner is an actress, entrepreneur and mother of three kids.

Born in Houston, Texas and raised in Charleston, West Virginia by her mother Patricia Ann English, a retired English teacher, and her father, Billy Jack Garner, a former chemical engineer, Garner is the second of their three daughters.

After finding her passion for acting during her time in college at Denison University, Garner moved to New York City to pursue her acting career. In 1995, she had her first on-screen appearance in the TV movie Zoya. The following year, Garner made guest appearances on the TV series Spin City and Law & Order.

Soon after, Garner moved cross country to Los Angeles and was cast in her first films including Washington Square and the comedy Mr. Magoo (both 1997).

In 2001, Garner got her big break in the role of Sydney Bristow in the action thriller TV series Alias. The show, which ran for five seasons, won Garner her first Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Drama in 2002 and her first Screen Actors' Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series in 2005.

Over the years, she's also starred in a series of blockbuster movies like Steven Spielberg’s Catch Me If You Can, Daredevil, Elektra and the classic romantic comedy 13 Going on 30.

As for her personal life, Garner married Felicity co-star Scott Foley between 2000 to 2004.

In 2005, Garner married actor Ben Affleck after a year of dating. Their eldest daughter, Violet, was born in December 2005. Their second child, Seraphina, was born in January 2009, and their son, Samuel, in February 2012. They split in 2015 and finalized their divorce in 2018.

Since 2018, Garner has been in a low-key relationship with businessman John Miller.

In 2017, Garner also became the Chief Brand Officer of Once Upon a Farm, a company that sells organic baby food and snacks for children.
