Kaley Cuoco

Kaley Christine Cuoco was born on November 30, 1985, in Camarillo, California to homemaker Layne Ann Wingate Cuoco and Realtor Gary Carmine Cuoco. She has one sister, Briana Cuoco.

Kaley started playing tennis at the tender age of 3 years old and became a ranked amateur tennis player, but quit the sport at age 16 when she decided she'd rather go into acting. Her first role in a feature film was in 1995's science fiction thriller Virtuosity. From 2000-2001, she was in the CBS sitcom Ladies Man; her next regular starring role was in 2002 when she played Bridget Hennessy on ABC's 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter. Between those two recurring roles, Cuoco was in the made-for-TV movie Growing Up Brady and a Disney Channel original movie, Alley Cats Strike.

In September 2007, Cuoco landed a career-changing role in the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory. By 2010, she was making a reported $200,000 per episode — a jump from her previous salary of $60,000 per episode — and by 2014, each episode of the show garnered her an estimated one million dollars. Still, The Big Bang Theory wasn't the only project Cuoco worked on throughout those years; she starred in several other films, made-for-TV movies, and as a minor character in a few episodes of Prison Break. She also hosted the Teen Choice Awards in 2011, and the People's Choice Awards in 2012 and 2013.

Cuoco started her own production company, Yes, Norman Productions, in 2017. And in 2021, she founded Oh Norman!, a pet product company inspired by her beloved dog Norman; a portion of the proceeds go to dog rescue programs.

Kaley Cuoco was married to Ryan Sweeting from 2013-2016, and Karl Cook from 2018-2022. In May of 2022, Cuoco confirmed her relationship with fellow actor Tom Pelphrey, and the two welcomed their daughter — Matilda "Tildy" Carmine Richie Pelphrey — on March 30, 2023. She regularly shares glimpses into their family life and Tildy's milestones on her Instagram page.
