Keke Palmer

Keke Palmer is an American actress, singer, comedian, TV personality, and mom who was born Lauren Keyana Palmer, in Harvey, Illinois on August 26, 1993. Palmer rose to fame as a child actress, namely in the movie Akeelah and the Bee and the Nickelodeon TV show True Jackson, VP. As an adult, she starred in Hustlers and Nope and co-hosts the game show Password with Jimmy Fallon.

Palmer is also known for her music career including her debut album, So Uncool, and her most recent album, Big Boss.

Palmer welcomed a son, Leodis "Leo" Andrellton Jackson, with then-boyfriend Darius Jackson in February 2023.

Jackson famously came under attack in July 2023 after he publicly shamed Palmer on X (formerly Twitter) for wearing a black mesh dress with a bodysuit underneath. “It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom," he said. When followers went after him, he stood his ground. “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is," he said. "This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.”

In November 2023, Palmer filed for a restraining order for herself and Leo against Jackson, alleging that he was physically abusive. The restraining order was granted and Palmer was granted temporary custody. She has since filed for sole physical and legal custody of Leo.
