Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon, born Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon, is an American actress, producer, and entrepreneur. The daughter of a military surgeon and a nurse, Witherspoon spent her early years moving around before her family settled in Nashville, Tennessee. She began her acting career as a teenager, gaining immediate recognition for her debut role in the 1991 film The Man in the Moon.
Despite then focusing on her studies and enrolling at Stanford University, Witherspoon left college early to pursue acting full-time. Among those post-dropping-out roles were Pleasantville in 1998 and Election alongside Matthew Broderick in 1999.

In 2005, she starred in her most critically acclaimed role to date: as June Carter Cash in Walk the Line. For her portrayal, she won an Academy Award, Golden Globe, BAFTA, and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress.
Beyond her acting career, Witherspoon has made a name for herself as a producer and entrepreneur. In 2016, she founded the production company Hello Sunshine to create female-driven content across all platforms. Among the company's most famous productions to date are Gone Girl, Daisy Jones & The Six, Big Little Lies, Where the Crawdads Sing, The Morning Show, and many others. Witherspoon has also put her bookworm passions to good use over the years with her book club since 2017.
As for her personal life, Witherspoon was married to actor Ryan Phillippe from 1999 to 2008. They welcomed their daughter Ava in 1999 and their son Deacon in 2003.
