Bobby Flay, star of Food Network, restaurant mogul and maestro of the cheeseburger, just chopped $1 million off the asking price for his tasty bit of Chelsea real estate in the wake of his ugly divorce.
Flay is willing to part with his gorgeous Chelsea duplex for just $7 million, which was created out of two separate apartments on the eighth and ninth floors. The finished space boasts just over 3,200 square feet, with three bedrooms that could be made into four and, natch, a gigantic chef’s kitchen to die for. The lower level has the kitchen, guest bedroom and full bathroom, while the upstairs has the master suite with two — two — walk-in closets and an entertainment room.
Let’s take a look around, shall we?
Living and dining
Here’s the first-floor living and dining room, with plenty of sunlit space for lounging and chowing down.
Kitchen
The huge, open kitchen is good enough for Bobby Flay, so you know you’re all set to whip up a spaghetti dinner.
Kitchen bar
Here’s another view of the kitchen and breakfast bar.
Stairs
The pretty staircase connecting the two levels.
Entertainment room
The upstairs entertainment space includes a zinc-top bar for serving tasty num nums to guests.
Master bedroom
The gorgeous master suite really shows off the rustic wood floors throughout the apartment.
Master bath
So. Much. Marble. And the mosaic tile on the floor is a perfect complement.
Guest bedroom
The second bedroom really makes up for what it lacks in space in natural light.
Guest bathroom
More of that beautiful marble.
Rooftop patio
The building’s rooftop patio has views of the Statue of Liberty.
Playroom
And even a playroom for all the kiddos.
Chelsea Mercantile
For just $7 million, this humble abode could be all yours. Or you could rent it for $22,000 a month.
