Eva Longoria is selling the color-saturated house that sheltered her through marriage and divorce

Gorgeous, substantial and just the right amount of spicy is how I would describe Latina lovely Eva Longoria. Those are also the words that came to mind when I took a little virtual tour through the L.A. mansion Longoria, the famous actress, activist and newlywed, just put on the market for $1.4 million. See, she doesn’t really need that house anymore.

First, it’s the crib she used to share with her NBA ex, Tony Parker, and who needs those bad vibes? Second, she and her new husband, José Bastón, split their time between a much fancier L.A. crib (once owned by Tom Cruise) and Mexico City.

Longoria stands to make a little cash off the deal. According to TMZ, she bought the dramatic Mediterranean hillside house built in 1924 for $1.15 million. It’s a three-bedroom, three-bath house with about 2,000 square feet perched on the side of a hill. It’s got plenty of touches that are obvious nods to Longoria’s Mexican heritage and Texas roots and that add tons of character to dreamy house.
