Everything We Want From Anna Sui’s New PBteen Collection

I’ve always had a soft spot for Pottery Barn’s teen and children collections. I might be all grown up, but I love the quirky picks you can find in their offerings for kids, which are a far cry from the simple faux-vintage, beach house-chic aesthetic of the original line (which, TBH, I also love).

PBteen has a way of making home decor for the younger set that still has serious panache, and their latest collaboration with designer Anna Sui is the perfect example of Pottery Barn’s commitment to keeping design high-level, even when it’s technically made for a younger demographic.

Though there are nods to classic adolescent motifs — you’ll see lots of butterflies here — the collection is mostly subtle enough to be blended with any modern home’s existing decor. There are lots of cool-toned purples and teals as well as rich blacks that offset the colors and metallic accent pieces.

It’s a blend of modern bohemian and new Victorian style that’s totally in keeping with current trends. You can check out some of our favorites from the line (and shop them, if you like) in the slides ahead.
