Our Favorite Items From Target’s New Home Decor Line

Target is famous for luring us in to pick up some laundry detergent only to have us leave with armfuls of new clothes and kitchen appliances. Well, it’s not going to get any easier. The brand has just released a new home line called Opalhouse, and before you click through, you may want to put your credit card in a glass of water in the freezer.

The line is colorful and full of bold print patterns. The design team traveled to Aix-en-Provence, France; Lisbon, Portugal; Paris, France; and Mallorca, Spain, to inspire the eclectic looks. If you’ve been looking for a way to brighten up your space, this is the way to do it. The line runs the gamut of what you’d want in a house, from party-ready kitchenware to statement-piece chairs or fresh-off-the-island TV stands. There’s even a selection of renter-friendly peel-and-stick wallpapers if you’re feeling like you want a total transformation.

Popular prints include peacocks and parrots, llamas and leopards, elephant baskets and palm trees in every form, including tea lights. They’ve basically taken your summer vacation plans and made them into throw pillows in the best way possible. The line complements other in-house brands for Target, such as Threshold, Project 62 and Hearth & Hand with Magnolia.

But don’t take our word for it. Check out the line for yourself — these are just a few of the pieces we couldn’t help but put in our cart.
