It’s Pride Month, y’all! Not sure about you, but for me, that means screaming from the rooftops how gay I am and making an extra effort to support queer-friendly businesses (not that this shouldn’t be your goal every single day). It’s also a great time to explore new LGBTQ+ things in bed, specifically queer-friendly (or even better queer-first) sex toys.
Sex tech brands have finally woken up and realized their consumers are queer as they come. From Wet For Her to Babeland to Le Wand, there are finally toys that are made without thought to stereotypical heteronormative sexual roles and with queer sex in the forefront and not as an afterthought.
These toys and aids include everything from vagina-vagina sex enhancers — like finger-extenders, double dildos and clitoral stimulators — to strap-on dildos for masculine bodies to amazing butt plugs and, of course, all sorts of fun products that vibrate. Perhaps the most innovative of the bunch are the few toys that are made specifically for trans bodies: female-to-male, male-to-female, and everything in between. Now I’m just waiting for a toy that works for all genitals across the board, which actually doesn’t seem impossible anymore.
Whether you are a rainbow shirt-donning pride parade-lover or stick to the underground parties, drag shows and burlesque performances, there’s something for everybody during this joyous month. So celebrate hard (and safe!) and enjoy the heck out of your month. You deserve it. And now, without further ado, here are a few of our favorite sex toys to get your Pride Month started. Happy Pride, folx!

Sona Clitoral Stimulator
For a penis-free adventure, Sona from Lelo sucks on the clitoris in an unmatchable way. Awesome for solo play or for partner play (put this on the clitoris and a mouth on the anal opening for a rocking good time), this toy is excellent for bodies that don’t love penetration.
Finger Extender
We honestly could recommend everything from this lesbian-owned and queer-first company. Most of their toys are for couples without penises and even use fingers as a size guide. This particular toy allows fingers to go deeper and stronger to perfectly hit the G-spot. If this isn’t for you, they also have a large array of toys that do and don’t resemble penises.
Le Wand Massager
The Le Wand is a wonderful battery-operated upgrade from the traditional magic wand, especially great for those who enjoy extra power stimulation. This wand is also specifically great for pre-op and no-op trans women whose HRT lead them to need extra stimulation. Le Wand founder Alicia Sinclair tells SheKnows, “What makes Le Wand so unique is its versatility. While many sex toys are specific to a certain body type, Le Wand can be used anywhere. For some trans women who may be going through transition, the many options will give you plenty of room to explore as your body changes. And even if transition isn’t a part of your experience, everyone can enjoy the 10 distinctive vibration speeds, 20 vibration patterns and various attachments allows.”
Fin
This perfectly designed finger vibe is perfect for clitoris stimulation and playing around the anus (but not inside!). An awesome warm-up toy before penetration, the Fin is also lovely for solo time for those who do not enjoy penetration or just want a quick clitoral orgasm.
Buck Angel FTM Stroker
The Buck Angel stroker is made specifically for FTM bodies and sized for those who have begun to medically transition. For those who aren’t medically transitioning, there’s the Fun Boy, made specifically for packing and playing.
Jive
A wearable, G-spot vibrator completely controlled by an app is a perfect toy for the exhibitionists among us. Throw that baby in and head to your local pride parade for a discrete thrilling time. Better yet, give app control to a partner for surprise pleasure all day long.
Pop Strap-On Dildo
This toy is incredible. Made for two vagina-owners looking to make a baby, but keep the baby-making to the bedroom and out of the doctor’s office. This dildo will literally ejaculate into the receiving vagina whenever the wearer decides its time. A true work of science, this toy is great for those ready to be parents.
Sharevibe
Made specifically for two vagina-owners, this double dildo can be used with or without a harness for hands-free double penetration pleasure. Even better, this toy comes with a bullet vibrator so both partners can enjoy vibration and penetration at the same time.
Pure Plugs
Another wearable toy, this excellent plug can be worn all day to spice up your pride parade (and after-party!). The best part about this toy is it’s 100 percent steel, giving you a weighted fullness sensation without the ability to break like a glass toy. Don’t forget lube for this one (silicone-based for all-day usage).
Flickering Touch Massage Candle
Not all sex toys have to touch genitals! Light this baby up to set the mood and end with a sensual back massage (bonus: use this massage ring for extra pressure and style) and the sweet sensation of hot wax on the body, regardless of what’s between your legs. Important: Do no drip any wax into the body, including but not limited to into the vagina, anus or mouth.
Tomboi Harness
Perfect for andro and masc humans, this harness looks like boxer briefs but acts as the perfect strap-on harness. Pair with your favorite dildo (we highly recommend going into or calling up your local feminist sex store, such as lesbian-owned Babeland, to find the right dildo for you) for a rocking good time. Pair it with a lube sampler pack from queer-owned, queer-loving Smitten Kitten.
Rainbow Dildo
It wouldn’t be a pride roundup with the classic rainbow dildo. Whether you’re putting it in a vagina or an anus, this bright baby is an excellent addition to any queer collection, plus it’s a great toy to leave out to freak out your in-laws.
