Paulina Gretzky and fiancé Dustin Johnson’s story keeps taking more twists and turns. On Tuesday, the daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky announced she is pregnant with the PGA golfer’s baby.
Normally, this is a cause for celebration, but there are some concerns due to Johnson’s drug issues. The athlete announced he was taking a leave of absence from the PGA tour on July 31 because of a reported failed drug test. According to the New York Daily News, the golfer was also handed a six-month suspension from the tour, but that has been denied by the golf association.

It was allegedly the third strike against him as he tested positive for marijuana in 2009 and cocaine in 2012. The PGA Tour has kept those failed drug tests private and has never confirmed any reports on Johnson or that the athlete cut a deal with them to avoid a suspension.
At the time he took leave, they said in a public statement, “With regard to media reports that Dustin Johnson has been suspended by the PGA Tour, this is to clarify that Mr. Johnson has taken a voluntary leave of absence and is not under a suspension from the PGA Tour.”
The golfer has kept a very low profile since he took a leave of absence. The pregnancy news is the first big announcement the public has heard from the couple.

Paulina posted an Instagram photo that showed the mom-to-be caressing her baby bump outside by their pool. She wrote, “@djohnsonpga & i are so excited to finally share with you all our amazing news..we’re having a baby!!”

Johnson has been silent on social media since he left the tour. He did not share the baby news on his Instagram account.
