Chris Pratt‘s son isn’t just completely adorable, he is borderline genius and totally polite, too — and he knows how to use it to his full advantage.
The Parks and Recreation star told Ellen DeGeneres that he is constantly amazed — and thwarted — by his 2-year-old’s total grasp of grown-up language and concepts and his ridiculously good manners.
“From what I understand, most of the terrible 2 stuff is the toddler’s inability to express what they want,” he said of Jack, whose mom is Pratt’s wife Anna Faris. “He’s so vocal that it’s not that hard for him.”

“It’s super-frustrating, because you’re like, ‘Jack, I think it’s time for you to go to bed,’ and he’s like, ‘I thought about it and no thanks, Dad. Not right now.’ He’s so polite, what am I supposed to do? I’m like, ‘I did teach you to be polite… OK, you can stay up.'”
