1. Duo lady officiants
A minister, priest or rabbi simply would not do for a gay wedding, so the gents had their two best lady friends, Joanna Garcia and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, as officiants.
2. Supermodel flower girls
Bass really wanted his wedding to have a “wow moment” and he pulled that off when they had three supermodels as their flower girls. It also gave the wedding a hint of a wedding gown. In other words, it was fabulous.
3. A majestic staircase for a wedding aisle
Who will ever forget Bass stepping out onto the top of that regal staircase with his parents on his arms? The only moment that matched it was when Turchin walked up the aisle and staircase to meet him. Having them each come from a different direction was a brilliant idea.

4. A double bachelor party, complete with a penis cake
The boys were thrown a surprise bachelor party by friends, and it was an instant hit with everyone. Who wouldn’t love a party that had male strippers, a double lap dance and a cake that featured two penises kissing?
5. Doggie ring bearers
Bass and Turchin wanted to include their fur babies in the ceremony and had their pups attend as ring bearers. It was simply adorable and perfect.
6. Onesies for two
Granted, they didn’t wear them at their wedding, but it was so cute to see the guys sharing coffee together on their deck in nearly matching onesies. So cute we nearly died from cuteness overload.
7. One-of-a-kind tuxes
Bass and Turchin walked down the aisle in complementary, but not matching tuxes. Bass’ tux was a take on the classic black suit with white shirt while Turchin wore an all-black ensemble.

8. Pop art wedding cake
Bass wasn’t too sure about it when their wedding cake designer suggested using some of Turchin’s original art for the cake design, but it came out wonderfully. There’s nothing wrong with some bold colors at a gay wedding.
