Fox News commentator Stacey Dash was suspended earlier today for using profanity while talking about President Obama’s Oval Office speech.
The Clueless actress is no stranger to controversy when it comes to discussing her views. But she went too far on Monday, Dec. 7, at least for Fox News. On the show Outnumbered, Dash got fired up while talking about the president’s speech addressing terrorism and the San Bernardino shooting.

She called the president’s speech an “epic fail” and continued by saying she’d hoped that the president would’ve made her feel safe and “better.” She continued by saying that she didn’t think the president “gave a shit.”
Swearing made Fox News give a shiz enough to suspend her for two weeks. She typically spends one week per month as a commentator on Outnumbered.

Coincidentally, she wasn’t the only Fox News commentator who got in trouble today. On the Fox Business Network, Lieutenant Colonel Ralph Peters used vulgarity to describe Obama as weak on terrorism.
Bill Shine, Fox senior executive vice president said, “Earlier today, Fox contributors Lt. Col. Ralph Peters and Stacey Dash made comments on different programs that were completely inappropriate and unacceptable for our air. Fox Business Network and Fox News Channel do not condone the use of such language, and have suspended both Peters and Dash for two weeks.”

Obviously, terrorism is an issue that’s important to all Americans, but there’s no need to use inappropriate language on live TV.
At what point will it be enough for Fox News to say goodbye to Dash? The controversy probably helps ratings, but is it worth it? How many mistakes before she becomes too much of a liability?

We can all learn from our mistakes, but it takes understanding that you’ve done something wrong. Dash took to Twitter to share her thoughts about the situation and she has no regrets. “Consequences. Some of us have to pay them. Gladly.”
