NeNe Leakes gets an apology from a ‘shady’ The View host (VIDEO)

NeNe Leakes has gotten an apology after her super awkward appearance on The View — sort of.

Leakes threw major shade on The View after her recent appearance, calling the hosts a bunch of “mean girls.” During a follow-up appearance on Watch What Happens Live! she later implied to Andy Cohen that Raven-Symoné in particular was “very shady,” and said she was giving her the “stink eye.”

Now Raven-Symoné is speaking out with a sorry, not sorry.

Raven-Symoné, hands-down one of the most controversial hosts The View has ever had, told E! News she feels bad that Leakes feels bad, but whatevs.

I feel sad for her. She came to my house party. I don’t understand what happened, but that’s her right if she felt that way. Just like our opinion, that’s her opinion,” she told E! News while sporting multicolored dreds and black lipstick. “Sorry, girl. My bad.

“I’m in a job where it’s about opinions and it’s about my opinion on certain things and so everyone gets scrutinized for their opinion even though we live in America and we’re supposed to have free speech,” she said. “I think that the best way that I can handle it is say my piece, stand behind my truth and move on myself.”

And anyway, Raven-Symoné doesn’t read any negative press. “I don’t read comments when they’re negative and nasty,” she said, so she probably never saw Leakes’ “mean girls” tweet in the first place.

Leakes has yet to comment on Raven-Symoné’s mea culpa, but she has been busy wrapping up her turn in the Broadway show Chicago.
