The proud papa showed off his 4-month-old son, Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr., with his wife, Crystal Renay. The baby was just born on March 16 and is already growing into quite the little gentleman, if his Teen Choice Awards style is any indication.
Don’t even try to tell me those wittle cheeks aren’t pinchworthy!

This, of course, isn’t the first time Ne-Yo has showed off Shaffer. The baby has had his fair share of adorable Instagram moments over the past few months as well.
Ne-Yo was a performer at tonight’s award show. He delivered a powerful rendition of Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On” as a poignant and timely question to ask surrounding all the gun violence happening in the past several years. Jessica Alba introduced the performance with relatives of victims of gun violence, including the brother of a victim of the Sandy Hook tragedy, the son of police violence victim Alton Sterling, the sister of a victim of the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting and several girls who survived the tragedy, according to Hollywood Life.

No doubt the message hit home even more for Ne-Yo, considering that his family was with him during thjs powerful performance.
Shaffer is Ne-Yo’s third child and his first with Renay. He has a daughter, Madilyn, and a son, Mason, with ex-fiancée Monyetta Shaw.
