The two-time Wimbledon champion said on June 27 that if was able to play at Wimbledon -- as he has did on Thursday -- then he would likely retire after the Paris Olympics. Murray faced a race against time to be fit to play in his final tournament at the All England Club after undergoing a procedure to address a spinal cyst on June 22. He subsequently withdrew from his first-round singles match on Tuesday, but confirmed that he would play in the men's doubles. However, the 37-year-old's Wimbledon farewell got off to a difficult start on Thursday as he was knocked out of the men's doubles in the first round alongside his older brother, Jamie, with a 7-6 (6), 6-4 loss to Australian pair Rinky Hijikata and John Peers. Speaking after the match, Murray discussed coming to terms with the end of his playing career. "I would love to keep playing, but I can't physically. It is too tough now. All of the injuries, they've added up. ... They haven't been insignificant. But yeah, I want to play forever," Murray told the BBC. "I love the sport. It's given me so much, taught me loads of lessons over the years that I can use for the rest of my life. But yeah, I don't want to stop, so it is hard." Murray also hinted that he might be interested in taking up coaching in his post-playing career. Asked if he was a good tennis watcher, Murray said: "It depends who I'm watching. I hate watching my brother. I find it really difficult to watch my brother play. But yeah, I love tennis. I watch it all the time. I'd probably be more comfortable sitting up there in a coaching box than somewhere else." Murray is due to take to the court again this week after Wimbledon organisers announced on Wednesday that he had entered the mixed doubles draw alongside fellow Brit Emma Raducanu after the pair were given a wild-card entry. The mixed doubles competition begins on Friday. 2011 Mitsubishi Adventure GLX 2 Private 27603 1 Adventure Mitsubishi Adventure 2018 Brand New 5aaf51ab8769a 20210408120848 B24a PhpGTHscP 5938c093abfc6 5c0f6887b594e .webp Maxresdefault 3ed72908 C 845e 20180312002438 7847 2016 Mitsubishi Adventure GLX 1294 5581584 2 2014 Mitsubishi Adventure Glx Manual 1582879673 0fc1046c Progressive Mitsubishi Adventure Glx 2015 1654326225 C44f55d5 38890132 10212727512008261 8328873332854226944 N 78c02c4d A B2cc 2014 Mitsubishi Adventure GLX 771 7733985 3 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 Glx 12 Cvt Glx 12 Cvt Auto 1580378155 B8c61486 L200 2 2006 Mitsubishi Adventure GLX Private 84457 1 5993f56590db0 .webp 2023 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 Steering Wheel Carbuzz 871549 1600 20190210084955 4fdd Gracy 1 1474127521 2008 Mitsubishi Adventure GLS Sport Private 8128691 1 Mitsubishi Adventure Glx Varia 1628313389 Fa246e4e Maxresdefault 2021 Mitsubishi Adventure Tgp Rear Q 1567406817 C40a6ac7 A C21f 5e182b6b5d792 2008 Mitsubishi Adventure GLX Sport 198 3697214 1 Cesarnn02 2 1479483540 5dc1759af3f09 Suzuki Ignis Glx My20 Tw 1001x565 (1) Mitsubishi Mirage G4 Glx 12 Cvt Glx 12 Cvt Auto 1580378156 Cd9853a2
