RHONY Season 8 trailer reveals drunken fights & one new cast member

Our favorite New York City royals have returned to Bravo for Season 8 of the martini- and Botox-slinging series, and we couldn’t be happier. People got the exclusive first look at the trailer for the season, which will premiere on April 6.

Most of the cast members are returning, which means we’ve still got Bethenny Frankel, LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Carole Radziwill, Dorinda Medley and Sonja Morgan. This season’s new blood is Julianne “Jules” Wainstein, a Tribeca-based event planner whose friendship with Medley led to her spot on the RHONY roster. She’s Jewish and Asian, and she doesn’t let you forget it, Frankel jokes in the trailer.

Wainstein’s investment banker husband, Michael, was the former business partner of twin nightlife promoters Derek and Daniel Koch — until the partnership blew up. Sounds like the perfect Bravo storyline, doesn’t it?

If the trailer is to be trusted, this season will also include a May to December romance, some downstairs plastic surgery and fights between the gals. It looks like someone gets engaged to someone very rich, making the ladies scream with delight. Ah, The Real Housewives of New York, how we’ve missed you.
